What is SONOS?

SONOS is a network device that allows you to play digital music media throughout the house. Download music from the Internet and play it through your home system.

What types of digital music formats does SONOS support?

The musical formats supported are; native support for compressed MP3, WMA, AAC (MPEG4), Ogg Vorbis, and Flac (lossless) music files as well as uncompressed WAV and AIFF files. DRM-encrypted and Apple or WMA Lossless formats are currently not supported.

What types of on-line music services are supported?

Currently, Rhapsody 3.0 is supported.

What types of Operating Systems are compatible with SONOS?

Windows 2000, XP; Mac OSX; Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices supporting CIFS.
